POSITION: safety Quality control manager  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Requirements:

· Cal/OSHA 30-hour construction training course

· Traffic Control Supervisor Certification.

· Certified Safety Professional, Construction Health and Safety Technician, or Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician designation

· Current certification in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)/First Aid from Red Cross or equivalent.

· Confined Space Training & Certification

· Fall Protection Training & Certification

Required Education and Experience:

· Four-year college degree

· Minimum of 5 years of related safety experience in Heavy Civil Construction

· Knowledge in the area of safety procedure for all types of work being performed on this project

· Knowledge of Caltrans specifications and plans, Cal/OSHA policy and procedures, and California Code of Regulations Title 8 safety    requirements.


Duties:

Confirm workers compliance with project drug testing requirements

· Conduct on-site new project orientation

· Review construction work plans for subcontractors before starting work

· Conduct or attend pre-planning sessions for high hazard work such as excavations, demolition, confined space entry, falsework, crane hoisting, high-risk utilities such as, high pressure pipelines with fuel or natural gas, and tunneling and boring.

· Conduct weekly job site safety meetings.

· Review work schedules including subcontractors, to ensure adequacy of job hazard analyses and address safety concerns and issues.

· Ensure SDS and a hazard communication program are available onsite for informing workers of material hazards.

· Verify compliance with hazardous waste requirements, including spill prevention and control measures.

· Conduct daily safety inspections of the job site for hazards and compliance with safety requirements of the project and Cal/OSHA.

· Document safety inspections in active construction work areas using site safety inspection/observation checklist.

· Ensure lane closure traffic control daily report is completed by traffic control technicians and traffic control daily review report is completed by the traffic control supervisor.

· Review lane closure traffic control daily reports and traffic control daily review reports for any work zone related safety issues.

· Investigate any near misses or reported incidents in a timely manner and take appropriate action to prevent similar incidents in the future.

· Prepare a daily safety status report that includes:

· Daily Construction Activities

· Safety Related field activities

· Safety deficiencies and corrective action

· Meetings, conversations, and other related safety issues

· Any reported near misses or incidents

Job Location: Orange County/Tustin

Benefits:  Medical, Dental and Vision, Paid Time Off and Profit-Sharing Plan

Salary Range: $110,000-120,000 Annually

POSITION: PARTS RUNNER       -Filled   

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Requirements: Valid driver license with clean driving record.
Forklift skills desired but we are willing to train
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.  Up to 75 lbs.
Company vehicle will be provided for all Part deliveries
Ability to find locations, preferably using smart phone with hands free directions

Duties: Pick-up and deliver parts at various locations in greater LA area.
Perform general cleaning and organizing at Piru yard
Perform various company errands as requested

Job Hours: 6:30am to 3pm (Monday to Friday).  OT is sometimes required with short notice.

Job Location: Piru Yard - 3986 E. Telegraph Rd., Fillmore, CA 93015

Salary Range: $16-17 per Hour
