This $43 million project started on August 2017 with an expected completion date of September 2019. The project called for the construction of 4 bridges over the Kern River and Truxtun Ave. in Bakersfield for the new Centennial Corridor Project. The 2 bridges fo the freeway are 170ft widenings of existing bridges and the remaining 2 are new bridges for off-ramp over Truxtun and Kern river. The longest bridge is 1200 ft. and has a hinge and spanned the KCWA canal and the Kern River and and is 75 ft. in height.
