This project widened 13 miles of SR 58 to accommodate four lanes of expressway. The project addressed the need to accommodate the increase in freight and vehicular traffic while reducing delays on this critical corridor. It addressed safety concerns by providing a grade separation for the railroad crossing, requiring close coordination with the railroad during construction. 

Security Paving was a key member of the delivery team responsible for the bridge package on this project located in the high desert. Our team was engaged early to provide estimates and constructability input. The four bridges were delivered successfully and met all quality, schedule, budget, and safety goals.
